What we collect, and what we don't

Best Channel Managers is a static editorial comparison site for vacation rental channel managers. This page is maintained by the Best Channel Managers editorial team and describes how the public site handles visitor data. It is not a certification or legal advice.

The short version

• No accounts, no logins, no newsletter sign-ups.
• No advertising trackers and no third-party marketing cookies.
• No selling or sharing of visitor data with vendors we review.
• Rankings are editorial and are not paid for by the tools listed.

What we collect

Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, referrer, and requested URL) are recorded by our hosting provider and retained for a short period to debug the site, monitor performance, and detect abuse. These logs are not used to build advertising profiles.

Cookies and analytics

The site itself does not set marketing or advertising cookies. If we later add privacy-friendly analytics to understand which reviews are most useful, we will update this page to describe what is measured and how to opt out.

Third parties

Pages may load fonts, favicons, or logos from public CDN endpoints (for example, Google's favicon service) so that vendor marks display correctly. These requests are handled by the visitor's browser and are subject to those providers' own policies. We do not embed advertising networks or session-replay tools.

Links to vendor sites

We link out to vendor websites (Lodgify, Guesty, Hostfully, and others) so readers can evaluate the software directly. Some outbound links may be affiliate links; if they are, that never changes our ranking or verdict. Our methodology is public and based on hands-on testing and public Trustpilot ratings.

Children

Best Channel Managers is written for professional short-term rental operators. The site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
